Here are some things to consider and ask when comparing policies. What is the liability coverage limits? Do I need excess liability? What are the medical payment limits? Do you need more of either for your purposes (like do you entertain a lot, have hired help on your property, etc.) Does it include worker’s comp (in CA it is mandatory) and it is mandated in your state? What is the coverage for out buildings (sheds), fences, yard ornamentation, etc. Are there mold and mildew restrictions? (Many insurers are excluding both after Katrina). Am I in a FEMA flood plane and do I require flood insurance? Do I need tornado insurance? Is wind damage covered? How are payments structured (i.e. do they have nuisance fees if the policy is not paid in full up front) and if so, is it recurring, a percentage or a specified amount per payment? Do I get a discount for: combining home and auto, fire and burglar alarms, being located close to a fire hydrant or fire station, fire proof construction (i.e. concrete roof shingles, metal framing), clearing a 100 foot defensible boundary, being a certain age, having no claims, having fire extinguishers in the kitchen and garage, etc. If going through a broker, ask how they are compensated, by commission you pay or commission paid by the company. If you are college educated, check with your alumni to see if they have an agreement with any certain insurer for discounts (same applies if you belong to professional membership organizations or a union). What is the personal possession coverage and do you require riders for special collections or jewelry or power tools in a workshop? new york accutane lawyer viagra online |

I always joked with my friends, most of us are worth more dead than alive. When we dies, the kid will say "si peh ho". Ya, lots of money to be paid to beneficiary.I have a friend who has 8 policies, he is a mechanic and always entertain his clients who are his customer from various insurers and buys some policies. One day, he collapsed of heart attack and good thing for him is he survived after being sent to hospital in an ambulance.Lucky chap, but out of 8 policies, only one policy paid him. And that is a Living Policy.Whether one has Living Policy, Term Policy, Accident Policy, one has to look into their own needs and plan to meet such needs. Many have different needs along the milestones in life. The saddest thing I can think of is those who are willing to pay for a car that cost $80,000 and paying instalment perhaps of about $600 a month and all these will be DEPLETED or depreciated if you call it.But when asked to set aside $100 dollar a month for the security of their family in insurance, they start to procastinate, think alot and never take up a plan. Some time I really do not understand why one is willing to pay for a car, and when come to plan for the financial security of the family, one is so unwilling to pay for insurance plans.I hope we can all give this a thought. online childbirth classes addiction online courses online degrees |

The basis of this practice, is that, the industry feels those that have poor or less than average credit ratings, are a risk as drivers overall. Just like how they separate the young male driver, under 25, that their statistics have shown that they cause more wrecks than the norm. I feel the stats for young men is probably pretty accurate, most teenage guys can’t wait to get the fastest car they can afford, and they do tend to get into more trouble then the norm. I do not understand how your credit rating should effect your driving skills. Many people suffer a bad credit hit, without cause on their part. Someone may have cancer, for example, payments for treatment are huge, and naturally all your medical bills could back up, causing late payments. To say that, because of a medical situation, I have to pay higher insurance rates, is totally asinine! This regulation should be changed, I totally agree. degrees online hr college online |

First off, I have been a claims adjuster for 20+ years. Using a credit report to help determine rates is pure BS. As another poster stated many people with good credit suck at driving. Their the ones who are wealthy and too busy to pay attention while driving. I have investigated 1000′s of accidents and there is absolutely no correlation between bad credit and bad driving. I agree there is a correlation between good credit and the insurance company getting paid on time. That is their main concern. Using the credit report crap to charge higher rates is just a bonus to the company. And folks let’s be clear about the myth that insurance is required in all states. It is NOT!! It certainly should be but it is not.People who are not in the insurance game (like nan6872) assume that insurance is required in all states because that is a logical conclusion, except when dealing with insurance and vehicle laws there is not much logic applied. There are many states that do not require mandatory insurance but instead require “financial responsibility”. For example I handle a lot of claims in Wisconsin. There are tons of insured drivers there drinking their great beer and driving home. Insurance is not mandatory there, however if you have an at-fault accident while uninsured the Dept of Transportation will revoke your license and registration if you do not sign a contract to repair the damages you are responsible for. buy prednisone how can I buy cialis buying prednisone online |

If you have an individual policy, and have had it for less than 2 years, insurance companies will often hire companies to go thru all your records to find any little thing you might have forgotten to write down on your application form. Then they say you lied on your application, and drop you. They have a computer program that watches for expensive treatments, and if you come down with something expensive in that first 2 year period, the computer program flags your file, and off to one of these companies for analysis it goes. Otherwise, they should not be able to drop you. so far as raising your rates, I am not sure. That may vary by state, so call your state’s insurance office and talk to someone there. States set their own rules for insurance, so nobody here on yahoo can help you with that. Depression would probably be treates like any other illness. Before you take a risk, are you in a state with mental health parity? Mental health may not be covered by your insurance anyhow. And also, know that for mild to moderate depression, antidepressants help no more than a placebo, research shows (go read the latest newsweek for more on this, or google that topic). For severe depression, antidepressants help only a modest amount, if at all – hard to know, because antidepressants are not tested against an “active” placebo with side effects, so most everyone in these research studies figures out who is on the active drug and who isn’t, after awhile. I’ll also give you my depression tips, so maybe you can skip the doctor altogether, for all but the most serious depression:Depression tips (PRINT THEM OUT):If your depression is worse in winter, try to get more sun. You may have seasonal affective disorder (SAD) or your depression could be partly seasonal. Use a light box (10,000 Lux (light intensity) at about 20鈥?– about $300 online, don’t get locally, they charge more, you don’t need full spectrum, it needs a UV filter, the Sunray is a good brand). I have extra windows,, painted the walls peach & yellow & have a skylight. There’s a link to a cheaper lightbox at psycheducation.org.Try meditation like progressive muscle relaxation or guided imagery. See The Anxiety & Phobia Workbook by Edmund Bourne for examples. Free 15 minute guided imagery download at healthjourneys.com.Go out with friends, & if you don’t have any, join a club & MAKE yourself go until you look forward to it. 鈥淚solating鈥?makes depression worse! Exercise 1/2 hour a day, & anytime you feel depressed. Exercise is a great mood stabilizer & reduces anxiety. LOTS OF RESEARCH SUPPORTS THIS.Insomnia?: Go to bed & get up the same time each day, even weekends. Don’t use your bedroom to watch TV, read or use the computer. Don’t do stuff that revs you up before bed, like exercising & using the computer. Light from computer screens & TV wakes you up. Use that last hour to wind down-take a bath? Make the bedroom very dark, even cover up the alarm clock. Use a noise machine (makes wave sounds etc.) to cover up disturbing sounds. Avoid caffeine in afternoon & evening. Try soundsleeping.com for free relaxing sounds downloads.Put colorful, happy things around the house. Do nice things for yourself. Make a list of things that make you happy, like: bread fresh from the oven, the scent of Jergen’s cherry almond lotion, the crisp sound of a saltine cracker breaking, fresh sheets on the bed, standing in the boat flicking topwater lures onto the water, etc. Use all your senses & read that list when you are breaking downWork on time management if you are overwhelmed. Cut back on other responsibilities so you can spend more restorative time with friends & family. Ask for help if depression makes it hard to keep up with chores.Spend more time with your pet, if you have one. Both of you will appreciate the time.DON’T listen to sad music! It makes things worse! Listen to upbeat stuff- same with movies & novels. DISTRACT yourself when you are hurting. Read a novel, watch a comedy, go out with friends, play cards, play a video game, whatever is mentally all-consuming. This is VERY helpful in a crisis!!Volunteer. Research shows that helping others makes you feel better about yourself. It also keeps you more involved in the community. Many people find comfort being involved in religion. Get help from your pastor. Some pastors from conservative faiths don’t 鈥渂elieve鈥?in mental illness & tell you to go off your meds & pray more 鈥?don’t go to such a pastor for 鈥渉elp鈥?if your faith is like this.Put a half-smile on your face. Changing your expression is proven to help change mood. For chronic & severe depression, go to mentalhealthrecovery.com & order a $10 WRAP (Wellness & Recovery Action Plan) booklet 鈥?write up your own daily plan to maintain mental health & a crisis checklist. Fill out a psychiatric advance directive to protect your rights & inform professionals about your care. Links to your state’s free PAD at bazelon.org. If suicidal (not just 鈥渟uicidal ideation,鈥?but I mean, you are impulsive or have a plan), find a community hospital with inpatient behavioral health (see yellow pages). Don’t call 911 unless you have already hurt yourself, because if it is just psych symptoms, it is the police that comes & they will take you to the closest place & that could be a horrible state hospital.Cognitive Behavioral therapy is the most effective kind of counseling. Try free computerized CBT at moodgym.anu.edu.au. Computerized therapy appears to be almost as effective as counseling, research shows.Good luck. I learned this information from classes & books.PS if you have an individual policy and have had it for less than 2 years (after that, your policy is incontestable) you better believe there is a risk that they will try hard to dump you if you need expensive treatment for anything. I’m sure some companies are much worse than others so google around – try “bad faith” as one of your google search parameters. This kind of crap is why I am very upset health insurance reform is going down the tubes. I have no gripe if people actually committed fraud, but they dump people off cancer treatment if they forgot to report a migraine headache prescription once 9 years ago. term life insurance purchase viagra generic viagra |

They have a computer program that watches for expensive treatments, and if you come down with something expensive in that first 2 year period, the computer program flags your file, and off to one of these companies for analysis it goes. Otherwise, they should not be able to drop you. so far as raising your rates, I am not sure. That may vary by state, so call your state’s insurance office and talk to someone there. helen that's like posting G.P's are giinvg up their $ 1/2 million dollar medical practices to protest health care insurance legislation. are the GP's going to join MLB and play for the yankees ? if insurance companies pay a dividend that the share holders are happy with, why would they just close down. no business would close down simply cause they wanted more profits. http://nmhpmvrmuzc.com fmvldphd [link=http://xvxhagkuftn.com]xvxhagkuftn[/link] |

I'm not sure where you live but there are certain slamler companies that do not use your credit as a bases for insurance. I don't know where you are but I do know in Florida if you go into a Trustway or Apple insurance office, they will be able to find a company that will do that for you. Bear in mind that because they do not use your credit these companies are not the best, they are slow to make claims and will drop you the second you lie or make a mistake. I believe that Trustway insurance is available in the south east part of the US and even in TX.Hope I helped |
