ASTA ODBC Driver能够高效地运用于网络资源中，可使任何Windows程序能够访问ODBC（开放式数据库互接）。传统程序是由VB编译或访问一个非常精确的AstaODBC Driver而他们是存在于互联网之中。但使用ASTA ODBC driver，你可以很方便地利用EXCEL从互联网中获得数据。

在ASTA servers中ASTA支持26种Delphi组件，包含第三方控件，并可利用其他数据库软件如：Oracle, MS SQL Server, ADO, ODBC, Dbisam, MySQL, DB2等等.

ASTA ODBC Driver配置仅需要一个500K大小的AstaODBC.DLL。当进行安装时，通过控制面板中的ODBC 附件，Odbc数据源就能够被定义和使用，然后在通过DSN从磁盘中进行安装。
