This unbelievably flexible groove instrument features a library of breaks with irresistible feel and compelling usability, which, although they derive their feel and sonic basis from live drumming technique, are very creatively processed, and were performed by one of four featured drummers (Emre Ramazanoglu or Dave Westlake, with contributions from Jack Yglesias and Steve Ashmore). The recordings were made in London at Metropolis, Padded Cell, Walworth Cage, Triangle, and Line of Flight. This project was conceived as a much more powerful alternative to "genre-based" sample libraries, offering sample-accurate live drum loops with an equal emphasis on diversity of sound through extremely creative processing techiques, but with the real feel of a human performance. Many performances changes and evolve, providing multiple loop variations. Real kits are the foundation of the sound of each break, although some incorporate additional live triggered analog drum machines or software triggered sounds. Each bar of each break has been designed to loop perfectly as a 1 bar break (sample accurate BPM), or as part of the whole evolving sequence. Emre Ramazanoglu is a London Based session drummer and producer whose recent credits include The Prodigy, William Orbit, Tricky, Bobby Gillespie, Tom Middleton and Sikth. Dave Westlake is the drummer with the Sneaker Pimps and session drummer for Medieval Babes amongst others.
Todd,I updated 3 sites this week to 2.7. I had no prbloems with 2 of them, but my main site fell apart during the process, and luckily my designer had a backup of the site! I learned a valuable lesson about backing up before doing any thing to my site like and upgrade to WP! Anyway, I was down most of the day yesterday and could have lost sales because of it, so I will be backing up every chance I get from now on!BTW, I am finally writing on my blog again now that all the holidays are over and the first one is about what I believe to be the most green fence product I have found yet. I will be throwing a shout out to this site for the great work you do keeping us all informed of the latest and greatest green products and construction techniques. Anyway, keep it up.Keith
