why would you ever consider buiyng boots without trying them on first???let go of the silly nonsense about completing kits. just be comfortable in the boots you wear.I got a mid range pair from burton and it fits my feet better than either the zoom or the highest end of burton boots. everyones feet are different especially men and women. buy something that is comfortable for you and let go of this retarded notion of completing kits. |

I'm curious as to why 16 would be a magic numebr here. Also, it would be interesting to see a quick example of the difference that it makes. Is it the sort of thing where you have to squint really hard to see a possible difference or is it fairly obvious?For example, perhaps you could show the same video at the same settings (except for dimensions) at 448 336 and 440 330. I know I could do it to satisfy my own curiosity, but if you did it, this article might have more impact for everyone.Whatever, thanks for the insight. |

As you know, it's really a bad idea to buy sbonwoard boots online without trying them on first. The issue is that all boots fit different feet and proper fitting boots are the most important part of your sbonwoard set up. If you do end up ordering them, which I don't recommend, a few tests at home are to make sure your toes are brushing up against the inside (front) of the liner. Wear them around for awhile, more than 15 minutes, to see if you get any pressure points. The problem is that boot liners pack out after awhile and will loosen up about 1/2 a size. If your toes are really crunched up in them, to the point where you can't extend your toes, they are too small. If you're getting heel lift when you put weight on your toes, they are too big or not a proper fit.I know you want advice from others that wear Nike, but everyones feet are different. Even if you wear the same size shoe, it may hurt your feet really bad to wear it while it fits someone else perfectly. If you have a shop around you, try on all their boots. If you have to buy the Nikes, buy about a half size less than what you think will fit you. A shop can do a toe-box and stretch the liner a little if need be. |

Shiv Could you please exliapn what you say in the Note box above? It's not clear why one would encode for one size and scale to another size when playing back the video.Also, is there a bitrate to dimension ratio for a clear/sharp looking video? Once upon a time, I turned pages for Jamie when he performed the Kreutzer Sonata at a studio class. This was before I played it myself, so I was unfamiliar with the theme & variations movement. There's one particular variation which is 2 straight pages of 16th notes, and 2 repeats. I made the mistake of glancing away from the page for a second, and discovered to my horror when I looked back that I couldn't remember a) where we were, and b) whether we had done the repeats. I ended up half-standing & hovering for what seemed like an eternity, with Jamie kindly giving me subtle no shakes and finally a clear yes nod.Then there was the time that I turned for a friend playing in a vocal recital @ Scotiafest. He asked me at the last minute as a favour, so I accepted, forgetting that I was battling the remnants of a nasty cough. There's nothing like being on stage and NOT BEING ALLOWED TO COUGH that will make you want to cough up a lung. I managed to get through the entire thing without once coughing during a piece, but then had a friend in the audience comment on the odd expression on my face at various times.
